Weather does not load

Check internet connectivity, the browser console, the Open-Meteo request in the Network panel, its HTTP status, and the selected city's coordinates.

A city cannot be found

Search is limited to the curated city list in weather-data.js. Add the city there if it belongs in the product scope.

Wrong city weather appears briefly

Inspect the fetchToken request-ordering flow. It exists specifically to prevent older responses from overwriting newer city selections.

Unit or theme preference resets

Inspect local storage for harmattan-unit and harmattan-theme. Persistence may not survive when browser storage is disabled, cleared, or heavily restricted.

Sound does not play

Interact with the page first, toggle sound again, confirm the tab is not muted, and verify browser Web Audio support.

9jaRun disagrees with the main page

Confirm both pages still load the same weather-data.js. If interpretation logic has been duplicated during a future refactor, consolidate it back into the shared module.
