9jaRun

9jaRun is Harmattan's weather-powered companion game.

It reuses window.HarmattanData.CITIES and window.HarmattanData.interpret from the same shared weather-data layer used by the main page.

Live weather context

The game makes its own Open-Meteo request for current values such as temperature, humidity, apparent temperature, day/night state, weather code, cloud cover, wind speed, wind direction, and UV index.

Product value

9jaRun changes the character of Harmattan. Instead of ending at forecast consumption, the product creates a second interaction around the same weather domain.

From an architecture perspective, the important point is not merely that a game exists. Both experiences share weather-domain data while retaining separate interaction logic.
